Yolanda Quintana is the founder of Human Approach HR and Senior Human Resource Consultant. Creating a team environment where organizations are moving in the same direction can be so powerful and with the right management leading the way can provide a competitive advantage. She works alongside her clients to create a workplace that will allow them to concentrate on their business. Beginning by developing a solid foundation with strategies and procedures that are compliant with federal, state and local laws, and leadership committed to treating the workforce with dignity, respect, and trust where everyone can prosper, including the organization.

Yolanda has over 20 years as of progressive knowledge in all disciplines of human resources. In 2013, she launched Human Approach HR as an Independent Consultant and Practitioner. Her passion is being parted an of the transformation process and seeing our client’s workforce thrive and become successful contributors to their organization.

In 2015, she began working with Mt San Antonio College, Chaffey College Workforce Training Center/Institute and Rancho Santiago Community College as an Instructor providing training to local business groups in leadership and human resource management topics. As a Bilingual in English and Spanish speaker, she can reach more diverse workforce communities and industries.

She currently attends Azusa Pacific University (APU) pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership with plans to graduate in 2019. She is a Graduate of University of Irvine (UCI), Human Resource Management, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Advanced HR Certification and Advanced Interactive Instructional Trainer with Cannon E-Institute and actively seeking to complete her SPHR/PHR Certification. She is also an alumnus of Mt. San Antonio College where she received her General Education. In 2014 received an OSHA 30 Certified in workplace safety and prevention.

To remain current in HR practices, we have been members of SHRM, Employment Advisory Council, annual Employment Law Conferences, California HR Conference and legal updates with AALRR Employment Law Attorney Group.

In May of 2013, she received her Small Business Certification. She is active in the community serving in several local chambers and sits on the Industry Manufacturer Chamber HR Advisory, active member the Regional Chamber SG Valley, Chino Valley, and Duarte Chamber of Commerce, Christian Business Partners, Toastmasters, past President of the Hispanic Business Association from 2007 to 2008 and Ambassador of the Year 2008 with the Regional Chamber.

On her off-time, Yolanda enjoys serving on the board of House of Ruth and Soroptimist International Puente Hills. She is co-founders of The LADY Group which provides a platform to support women in achieving their dreams through mentorships, workshops, and positive social events.

Challenges occur in all organizations and taking these steps may not be so straightforward to implement. When poor leadership exists, the organization and the team suffer. To improve, and strengthen the group dynamics requires a desire and commitment from its leadership.
