Topic The Form I‐9 presentation is an overview of the employment eligibility verification process, including:

  • Features of the Form I‐9.
  • Step‐by‐step instructions.
  • Form I‐9 retention and storage.
  • Form I‐9 best practices.
  • Form I‐9 and E‐Verify.

Speaker Rea Bisa is a management and program analyst in the Outreach Branch, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services(USCIS), Verification Division. She has a degree in law. As part of the Outreach Branch, she provides training and education to employers and the public on programs supported by the Verification Division. This includes: E‐Verify, Form I‐9, and myE‐Verify. Ms. Bisa has worked on an array of labor and employment matters, such as employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation.

Additional Information Annual membership fee is $65 and includes reduced rate at events and access to the CEAC Management Hotline. Late registration and payments not received or postmarked by September 13, 2019 will be charged an additional $20 per person on day of event. New Law! – California SB 1343, effective January 1st, 2020 requires all companies with 5 employees or more to offer sexual harassment prevention to all non-supervisory employees within 6 months of hire.
