Topic The Form I‐9 presentation is an overview of the employment eligibility verification process, including:
- Features of the Form I‐9.
- Step‐by‐step instructions.
- Form I‐9 retention and storage.
- Form I‐9 best practices.
- Form I‐9 and E‐Verify.
Speaker Rea Bisa is a management and program analyst in the Outreach Branch, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services(USCIS), Verification Division. She has a degree in law. As part of the Outreach Branch, she provides training and education to employers and the public on programs supported by the Verification Division. This includes: E‐Verify, Form I‐9, and myE‐Verify. Ms. Bisa has worked on an array of labor and employment matters, such as employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
Additional Information Annual membership fee is $65 and includes reduced rate at events and access to the CEAC Management Hotline. Late registration and payments not received or postmarked by September 13, 2019 will be charged an additional $20 per person on day of event. If you make a reservation and do not attend, you will be billed unless you cancel by Friday, September 13, 2019. Funds collected exceeding the seminar cost will support future seminars or community employment and training opportunities.
