Speaker Marilou Mirkovich
Ms. Mirkovich is a Senior Partner at Atkinson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Her investigation practice focuses on conducting, supervising, and evaluating impartial investigations and often concerns complex allegations against high-level employees. Ms. Mirkovich currently leads AALRR’s investigation team. Ms. Mirkovich is a founding board member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and is an AWI Certificate holder (AWI-CH), which is an ANSI accredited certificate.

Topic Today’s business owners and human resource professionals must be able to cover a myriad of issues from insurance and financial controls, to the protection of trade secrets and compliance with California’s burdensome employment laws. In this informative seminar, employment law attorney Jonathan Fraser Light will provide an overview of the key topics causing the most headaches for employers.

Speaker Jon Light has more than 30 years of experience in the field of employment law, is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has been named multiple times as one of Southern California’s “Super Lawyers” by Los Angeles Magazine. As the managing attorney at LightGabler, Jon and his team members consult with over 1,500 companies throughout California regarding their day-to-day employment law needs. Jon graduated from the UCLA School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review.
