Topic Join us to discuss lessons learned from 2019 and employment compliance trends for 2020. The briefing will highlight topical trends such as the gig economy and independent contractors, discrimination, new legislation, and employer liability.

Speaker Paul Fleck is a partner at Atkinson, Andelson Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) and Chair of AALRR’s Private and Employment Practice Group. He works closely with federal, state, and local employment and labor laws. He represents management in employment litigation, including defending claims for wages and hour violations, wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, and leave of absence violations. Mr. Fleck conducts trainings for managers, supervisors, and human resources professionals.

Additional Information Individual annual membership fee is $65, company membership fee is $85 and includes reduced rate at events and access to the CEAC Management Hotline. In this informative seminar, employment law attorney Jonathan Fraser Light will provide an overview of the key topics causing the most headaches for employers.

Speaker Jon Light has more than 30 years of experience in the field of employment law, is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has been named multiple times as one of Southern California’s “Super Lawyers” by Los Angeles Magazine. As the managing attorney at LightGabler, Jon and his team members consult with over 1,500 companies throughout California regarding their day-to-day employment law needs. Jon graduated from the UCLA School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review.
